There has been a change in the dugout at Winterton Rangers after Darren Waring and Mark Allen decided to step down as manager and assistant boss at West Street at the end of August. They were quickly replaced at the Toolstation NCEL Division One club by Lee Hastings and Dan Nicholson.
Hastings left the assistant manager post at Selby Town to take up the Rangers hot seat and departed with the best wishes of Selby manager Dave Ricardo, himself a former Winterton player, who won the Premier Division title whilst playing for Rangers.
The vastly experienced Craig Palmer has also joined the club as player-coach.
A club statement said: "Rangers would like to thank both Daz and Mark for their dedication through a difficult time at the club and are pleased to announce they have stayed on to assist behind the scenes.
"The new management team have settled in well and results have started to pick up as they continue to bring in new players and shuffle the existing pack."
