Two of the top three in the Premier Division at the start of play met at Norwood Park where a crowd of 433 watched a thoroughly entertaining 2-2 draw between hosts Beverley Town and Tadcaster Albion.

Mitchell Dunne struck twice to send them on their way to the three points by the 48th minute and the Ambers' tally was increased further with goals from Scott Ruthven and Owen Haigh.

And, in the day's other Premier Division tie, Parkgate are up to eighth after Hayden Goddard and Alex Wonham struck in a 2-1 win at seventh-placed Pickering Town, Maximillian Bauer with a 77th minute consolation for the Pikes.

In Division One, Harrogate Railway Athletic and Worsbrough Bridge Athletic move closer to table-toppers Dearne & District with wins in two of the four matches that took place.

Harry Lynn, Harris Eggleston and Alex Burton were the scorers as the Rail beat visitors Selby Town 3-0 and they are now four points away from the summit and stay two points ahead of the Briggers who won 7-1 at basement side Glasshoughton Welfare.

Liam Flanagan's hat-trick was added to by one each from Lewis O'Connor, Stephen Williams, Jamal Stewart and Daniel Booth as they swept aside their hosts whose goal came from a late penalty converted by Jack Stokell.

Brigg Town are up into eighth following their 4-2 home win over Athersley Recreation, coming from 2-1 down with Joshua Batty's second and goals from Dayle Hutson and Alfie Usher after Luca Cancello had grabbed a brace for the Rec.

And, Akram Lasalire also netted twice in South Leeds' 3-1 victory at Winterton Rangers that lifts them up into sixteenth whilst their hosts stay next-to-bottom.

Anane Wireko claimed their other goal and Troy Taylor struck towards stoppage time to give the home side some cheer before the final whistle.
