The Second Round of the Isuzu FA Vase took place on Saturday with three of the five remaining Macron NCEL clubs all keeping their dreams of a Wembley appearance alive.There was late drama as
Albion Sports sneaked through 3-2 against Holker Old Boys in a game that had been been deadlocked for 75 minutes before ending in a five-goal thriller.
The Old Boys took the lead but Mohammed Qasim and Ellis Wade turned the tie in the Lions' favour only for their visitors to level matters once again as injury time loomed.
But, Nathan Cartman struck to grab Sports the dramatic victory in a clash that had been moved to Brighouse Town's ground following firework damage sustained to the surface at Myra Shay in midweek.
Rossington Main are also into Monday's draw after a 6-5 win on spot kicks following a 2-2 scoreline at Carlisle City, Dylan Mantle and Archie Micklewaite with second half strikes to fight back from a two goal deficit in the opening half-hour.
And,
Liversedge also came from behind to progress as Joseph Walton and Kelan Swales netted in a 2-1 home victory over Atherton Laburnum Rovers.
However, the FA Vase trail has ended for
Brigg Town who were knocked out by an injury-time winner for visitors West Didsbury & Chorlton in a 2-1 defeat, Joshua Batty with the goal for the Zebras, and
Barton Town went down 4-0 at South Liverpool.
In the Premier Division,
Beverley Town have climbed up into second and are three points behind Sedge after their 2-0 home win against
Bottesford Town, Adam Stockhill and James Piercy pouncing in the opening eleven minutes to claim the victory that lifts them above
Tadcaster Albion who were beaten 3-1 at
Handsworth.
Scott Ruthven's penalty and a Jordan Hines strike gave the hosting Ambers a two goal lead by the interval, that advantage was halved by Spencer Harris midway through the second period and Ruthven's second in stoppage time confirmed the three points for the home side who move up into fifth.
Sheffield keep themselves in fourth after their 3-0 defeat of visitors
Penistone Church, Corey Gregory, Nathan Whitehead and Harrison Poulter all scoring in the opening period to claim a comfortable win.
There were also early goals for
Thackley as Toby Marriott and Hass Gorji netted in the first quarter of the game to beat hosts

Fifth-placed

Maltby Main after taking the lead through Harrison Rowley with Luke Hinsley and Jordan Buckham turning the game round in the Miners' favour who move up into eighth.
Appleby Frodingham picked up three vital points in their bid to move from the relegation zone, Krzysztof Jarosz with an 82nd minute winner as they beat hosts
Doncaster City 2-1 whilst
Selby Town have climbed up into sixteenth after their 4-1 win at basement side
Glasshoughton Welfare.
Joseph Rawcliffe, Daniel Davison, Lleyton Brown and Harry Clapham scored for the Robins who keep themselves five points clear of danger.
Cole Nelson and Will Pennell secured a 2-0 home win for
Louth Town over
Winterton Rangers whilst
South Leeds shared six goals with
Club Thorne Colliery, Luke Williams with a 71st minute equaliser for the visitors in a 3-3 rollercoaster draw.
