An Alfie Dean double helped Tadcaster Albion to maintain their place at the top of the Premier Division in a busy midweek of Macron NCEL action.

Noah Ward also got on the scoresheet for the Brewers as they won 3-0 at Frickley Athletic to make it five wins out of six for Ryan Qualter's side.

They are a point ahead of Penistone Church who climb up into second spot following their 4-2 win at Horbury Town in a match where they raced into a 3-0 lead by the nineteenth minute.

A Joseph Angell own goal was added to by Samuel Scrivens and Jordan Coduri but the hosts fought back to close the gap to 3-2 by the interval, James Travis and Samuel Kyeremeh giving Horbury hope going into the second half.

But, Kieran Ryan grabbed what proved to be a vital fourth for Penistone as they keep up their unbeaten start to the Premier Division campaign with a 4-2 victory.

Parkgate are now fifth after Sam Eckhardt netted the only goal of the game in their victory at Thackley with Pickering Town just behind them following their 4-1 win at Handsworth.

Souleymane Coulibaly's double was added to by George Brown and Connor Avison whilst Scott Ruthven dispatched a penalty for the Ambers.

Harrogate Railway Athletic lead the way in Division One after Harris Eggleston's early spot kick was twice added to by Alex Ingham in a 3-0 win at Ilkley Town.

They unseat Dearne & District who, despite Justin Circuit's fifth minute opener, were beaten 2-1 at Maltby Main, Curtis Morrison with a quick equaliser and Jordan Buckham with the winner at the start of the second period.

Armthorpe Welfare drop to fourth as they went down 3-1 at Selby Town, Bayley Lowe putting them in front before an Edward Dry equaliser and a Harry Clapham brace ensured the win for the Robins who move up into seventh.

Jake Squires scored both of the goals for Worsbrough Bridge Athletic who defeated visitors Athersley Recreation 2-1 and the Briggers now complete the top five.

The league's top scorer, Zak Khan, took his tally to sixteen with his fourth hat-trick of the season as Route One Rovers won 5-3 at home to Glasshoughton Welfare.

Henry Cook was the matchwinner for Crowle Colts as his second of the evening, coming in the 78th minute, made sure of a 3-2 home victory over Brigg Town.

Wakefield AFC were also successful on their own patch as Ashley Flynn, Ashley Grayson and Tom Hinton found the net in a 3-0 triumph against Nostell Miners Welfare.

Omar Sanyang struck the decider for Leeds UFCA as they won 1-0 over visitors South Leeds and Reagan Waud scored twice to claim a 2-0 home victory for Doncaster City against Winterton Rangers.
