Penistone Church and Thackley head the early Macron NCEL Premier Division table as they both picked up goalless draws on Saturday in the third weekend of the new campaign. The action began in disappointing fashion on Friday night as
Golcar United's home clash with

Sheffield were leading 1-0, scored by Nathan Whitehead, when the referee brought an early end to proceedings.
Saturday saw seven matches take place in the top flight with Penistone held by
Eccleshill United and Thackley finishing level with
Horbury Town in a rare weekend where two games ended without a breakthrough.

Bottesford Town 4-0.
