Joe Wood's late double added to Jordan Hines' opener to give the Pikes a 3-0 win at
Campion whilst Harry Lovick's injury time strike snatched the Swans a 2-1 scoreline in their favour at next-to-bottom
Winterton Rangers.
Basement side
Goole AFC's first game of 2025 ended with a 1-0 home victory for the Vikings, James Eyles' 26th minute strike making it two wins in a row as they look to make the Great Escape, closing the gap to safety to eleven points.
The two teams just above the drop zone,
Frickley Athletic and
Eccleshill United, played out a goalless draw at Westfield Lane.
And, it also finished 0-0 between
Handsworth and their visitors Rossington Main, a result that leaves both sides in mid-table but only seven points away from the top five.
Horbury Town's lead at the top of Division One has grown to thirteen points as Gibril Bojang's late winner secured them a 2-1 victory at
Armthorpe Welfare.
Joseph Angell had given them the breakthrough in the first half and the hosts had looked to have secured a point when Andrew Wright equalised near the hour mark before the decider on 78 saw the spoils taken by Darren Barnes' side.
Second placed
Brigg Town lost a little ground as they drew 1-1 at home with
Glasshoughton Welfare, Oliver Fisher with their equaliser early in the second half after Regan Fish had given the visitors a lead going into the interval.
The other three sides in the play-off zone all won,

Wakefield AFC came from behind to beat
Nostell Miners Welfare 2-1 in their local derby on Friday night, Kiyani Clayton with what proved to be the winner on 61 minutes to keep the visitors fourth.
And, Eliel Maville-Anku and Toby Marriott struck for
Ilkley Town in a 2-0 win at next-to-bottom
Appleby Frodingham, remaining in the top five as the race for a play-off spot continues to be a tight one.
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic,
Dearne & District and
Selby Town were all victorious as they keep their promotion ambitions alive, all moving up a place each to complete the top eight.
The Briggers went behind in the third minute to visitors
Louth Town but a Connor Glavin penalty and then a Harry Spooner strike saw them quickly turn the game round for a 2-1 win.

Ben Stobart grabbed the only goal of the game as
Club Thorne Colliery won at home to
Dronfield Town, moving his side up into fourteenth whilst their opponents remain just three points clear of the drop zone.
And, a waterlogged pitch caused
Athersley Recreation's home clash with
Harrogate Railway Athletic to be postponed.
