Connor Glavin netted to put Worsbrough ahead for a third time in the 87th minute and that proved decisive.
Maltby took the lead in the third minute through Ashley Flynn only to be pegged back by Bailey Wright on the quarter-of-an-hour mark for visitors
Louth Town.
But, the Miners grabbed the winner in a 2-1 victory early in the second period through Wade Ripley.
Armthorpe Welfare have moved to six points clear of the relegation zone as they won 1-0 at home to next-to-bottom
Yorkshire Amateur.
Marc Newsham scored what proved to be the vital strike in the 79th minute as his side climb to fifteenth in the table.
Meanwhile, in the Premier Division,
Eccleshill United's home clash with
Campion was abandoned at half-time due to fog with the game goalless.
