Silsden AFC bowed out of the Isuzu FA Vase, Golcar United returned to the top of the Premier Division and Division One leaders Horbury Town fell to their third defeat of the season in the weekend's NCEL action.Casey Stewart scored a late consolation for Silsden as they were beaten 5-1 at West Didsbury & Chorlton in a tie where they found themselves 4-0 down by the 38th minute on a disappointing afternoon.
And, the Cobbydalers suffered a double blow as they were displaced at the summit of the Premier Division by Golcar whose 3-0 home victory over
Campion puts them back in pole position.
Alfie Wilkinson broke the deadlock in the seventeenth minute and added his second midway through the second period after James North had doubled Golcar's advantage around the hour mark.
Third-placed
Thackley went behind at
Eccleshill United with Thomas Priestley-Standing giving the hosts a fourteenth minute lead.
But, the Dennyboys turned the game around to lead 2-1 at the interval, courtesy of Ben Grech-Brooksbank and Lewis Sugden.
A second from Sugden extended their advantage early in the second period before two goals in the last ten minutes from Tawheed Ahmed and Antony Brown rubberstamped the points for Thackley in a 5-1 victory.
Beverley Town stay fourth despite their 2-1 loss at
Handsworth, McCauley Snelgrove's 75th minute penalty giving them the lead before the hosts rallied late on through Mitchell Dunne and a spot kick from Scott Ruthven, his 21st goal of the campaign.
Penistone Church's goalless draw at next-to-bottom
Winterton Rangers keeps them in the play-off zone but the cushion to sixth is now just one point.

Ali Spencer Aydemir put Barton ahead on 33 minutes but Sam Swinn ensured the spoils were shared with his leveller near the hour mark.
And, in Friday night's game, Ifeananya Nnenanya grabbed a dramatic winner for
Pickering Town in stoppage time as they beat hosts
Knaresborough Town 2-1, a win that moves the Pikes up into twelfth.
In Division One, Horbury remain fourteen points clear at the top but suffered a rare defeat as they went down 1-0 at
Shelley, Klein Gwenero with the decider midway through the second period to give the hosts a deserved victory.
Horbury's two closest rivals met with
Wombwell Town winning 3-0 at home to leapfrog their visitors
Dearne & District into second place, Kane Reece, Jordan Kershaw and Joshua Nodder with their goals.
There were also home wins for
South Leeds and
Brigg Town to keep themselves fourth and fifth, respectively.
James Law struck twice for South Leeds as they beat
Harrogate Railway Athletic 4-2 whilst Ashton Coley added to an own goal as Brigg defeated
Appleby Frodingham 2-0.
Wakefield AFC climb to sixth, two points off the play-off zone, as a Bradley McGowan brace helped them to a 4-0 home victory over
Dronfield Town.
They replace
Ilkley Town who drew 1-1 at
Selby Town, Maxim Hague putting them ahead before Harry Clapham equalised for the Robins to make it a point apiece.
1-1 proved a popular scoreline with three other games ending that way, Charlie Austerfield cancelling out a Harrison Dunn strike for
Louth Town as
Nostell Miners Welfare were held by their visitors.
Alexander Kemp restored parity for
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic after Benjamin Greasley had put visitors
Club Thorne Colliery ahead.
And, most dramatically, Bradley Morton scored in stoppage time for
Maltby Main to deny a victory for
Yorkshire Amateur who had taken the lead through Elliott Jones.
Elsewhere,
Swallownest moved to four points clear of the relegation zone as Alex Wonham got both of their goals in a 2-1 home win over
Glasshoughton Welfare.
Meanwhile, Friday night's game between
Athersley Recreation and
Armthorpe Welfare was called off due to pitch issues.
