Only six games involving NCEL sides went ahead in the past week as snow, freezing temperatures and heavy rain all pummelled the region to cause the first major disruption of the fixtures schedule this season.Monday night saw
Armthorpe Welfare bow out of the West Riding County Cup at the Second Round stage as they were beaten 6-3 at Route One Rovers.
Harley McCormack and Ryan Ellison netted to make sure honours were even at the interval and, even though Harry Charlotte added to Armthorpe's tally on the hour mark, it was the home side who progressed as the snow began to fall.
Tuesday saw a raft of postponements with only one game surviving as
Barton Town lost 2-1 at home to Lincoln United, Ali Spencer Aydemir with a late consolation in their Lincolnshire Senior Trophy Quarter-Finals tie.
All of Wednesday's matches were called off and only four fixtures went ahead on Saturday as Storm Bert arrived to cause further problems.
Beverley Town move up to third in the Premier Division following their 4-2 home victory over
Tadcaster Albion.
Cameron Connelly's opener for the hosts was cancelled out by Elliott Andrew but McCauley Snelgrove ensured a 2-1 advantage for Beverley by the interval.
James Piercy extended their lead early in the second period before Andrew's second, this one from the penalty spot, brought the Brewers back into touching distance.
However, Snelgrove's second, in the 81st minute, ensured the points were secured for David Ricardo's side.
Hallam were 3-0 winners at
Goole AFC, Brandon Bradbury's second half double added to late on by Brodie Litchfield in a victory that lifts them to sixth whilst their hosts remain in the basement.
And,
Campion are up to eleventh following their 4-0 victory at
Bottesford Town, Aidan Day scoring in the first half with further goals from Michael O'Brien, Ewan Gregson and Covenant Ofoegbu increasing the lead after the break.
Meanwhile, in the only Division One action,
Horbury Town are now eight points clear at the top of the table after their 5-1 home win over
Maltby Main.
Angelo Tambini put the visitors in front in the 25th minute but it was the hosts who went in 2-1 up at the interval, courtesy of Jack Leach's leveller and an injury time penalty from Gibril Bojang.
Bojang converted a second from the spot in the 79th minute before injury time goals from Joe Jagger and James Travis gave the scoreline an even more one-sided look by the final whistle.
