Tadcaster Albion remain two points clear at the top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division after their 2-1 home win over Barton Town Old Boys on Saturday.
The Brewers took control of the game with first half goals from Josh Greening and Gregg Anderson before Gareth Barlow halved their advantage on 72 minutes but their lead remained intact to keep themselves in pole position in the title chase.
Handsworth Parramore's championship challenge also continues to gather momentum as they moved up to second with a 2-0 victory at Garforth Town, Kieran Wells' seventeenth minute strike added to in second half stoppage time by Alex Rippon.
They go above Bridlington Town who drop to third despite a 1-0 win at fourth placed Worksop Town, Chris Adams with the vital strike for the Seasiders against their ten-man hosts who also missed a penalty.
Two goals from Brody Robertson following an opener from Luke Mascall earned Cleethorpes Town a 3-0 victory at Staveley Miners Welfare to open up a six point gap between themselves in fifth and their hosts who are sixth.
Omar Habeeb's strike on seven minutes for Albion Sports proved not enough as they drew 1-1 at Clipstone, Pat Lindley with the home side's equaliser on the hour, to keep the Lions in seventh spot.
Pickering Town leapfrog Clipstone into eighth with a 2-1 win at Pontefract Collieries, Ged Dalton with both of the Pikes' goals, whilst the defeat leaves the Colls looking nervously over their shoulder at the relegation zone.
They are now just outside the bottom three after Brigg Town won 2-1 at home to basement side Liversedge, coming from behind after Ryan Jenkinson opened the scoring for the visitors on two minutes with a Matthew Parker equaliser midway through the first period and then what proved to be a winner from Paul Grimes halfway through the second.
Brigg go above Nostell Miners Welfare, who did not have a game, Parkgate and Pontefract into eighteenth position.
Parkgate are now in the drop zone after their 6-2 home loss to Retford United, Adam Lee with a hat-trick for the Badgers whilst Christian Savage weighed in with two of his own for the visitors.
Ryan Carroll's nineteenth minute strike claimed Maltby Main a 1-0 win at Thackley and honours were even between Armthorpe Welfare and Rainworth Miners Welfare as they played out a 2-2 draw at Church Street.
Hemsworth Miners Welfare's seemingly unstoppable march to the Division One title continued as they maintained their eleven point gap at the top of the table with a 2-1 home win over fellow top three side Shirebrook Town, Danny Critchlow and Shane Kelsey netting for the hosts before Jake Currie pulled one back just before half-time.
Second placed AFC Mansfield edged their game at Grimsby Borough, Daniel Patterson with the only goal early in the second period, whilst Bottesford Town go above Shirebrook into third with their 6-0 home win over bottom side Lincoln Moorlands Railway.
Danny Boulton struck twice and Terry Barwick converted two penalties to heap more misery on Railway who are now twelve points away from safety with seven games to play.
AFC Emley extended their unbeaten run to seventeen matches, the fifth placed side drawing 1-1 at Winterton Rangers, Ashley Flynn's 66th of the season cancelling out an early goal from Craig Palmer for the hosts.
Hull United continue to occupy the final play-off spot after their 0-0 draw with Knaresborough Town, ahead on goal difference of Penistone Church who were held 2-2 at home to Glasshoughton Welfare.
Hallam kept their play-off ambitions going with a 3-1 victory at Yorkshire Amateur, Michael Blythen with two of their goals, to remain in eighth but now just two points away from the top six.
At the other end of the table, next-to-bottom Worsbrough Bridge Athletic were beaten by late strikes from Tom Fairweather and Blake Owen in a 2-0 loss at Dronfield Town.
They are now six points behind Hall Road Rangers, the side just above the drop zone, who picked up a 3-3 draw at Teversal courtesy of an injury-time equaliser from captain Mike Thompson.
Rossington Main's Jake Outram scored on 81 minutes to claim a 1-1 draw at Westella VIP whilst Nicholas Thompson netted at the start of the second period as Selby Town beat visitors Eccleshill United, 1-0.
