Worksop Town are top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division, ahead of Tadcaster Albion on goal difference, after both sides won home matches in midweek.
The Tigers raced into a three goal lead against Thackley by the 27th minute with Ross Henshaw opening the scoring before Jordon Cooke and Kyle Jordan found the net.
Thomas Dugdale pulled one back for the visitors on the half-hour but Cooke quickly got his second and Mitch Husbands made sure of a 5-1 victory when he got on the scoresheet just after the interval.
Tadcaster, meanwhile, defeated Staveley Miners Welfare, 2-0, with a goal towards the end of each half from Andrew Milne and Adam Baker.
Clipstone are third as Jahmal Smith's hat-trick helped them to a 6-1 victory at Armthorpe Welfare with his opening goal coming after just 27 seconds.
Mark Simpson also took home the matchball for Garforth Town as he struck three times in their 4-0 win at bottom side Brigg Town.
Pontefract Collieries won 3-0 at home to Athersley Recreation with two goals coming from Liam Radford whilst there were 1-0 victories for Albion Sports at Barton Town Old Boys and for Bridlington Town at home to Handsworth Parramore.
And, there was a goalless draw between Retford United and Nostell Miners Welfare at the Jones & Co Stadium.
Second-placed Hull United closed the gap on Division One leaders Hallam to goal difference with a 4-2 home victory over Westella VIP, Brett Agnew netting twice for them in the opening period.
Up into third are AFC Mansfield who triumphed by the same scoreline at Yorkshire Amateur with two of the Bulls' goals coming from Craig Mitchell.
And, Bottesford Town came from two goals down to climb into fourth with a 4-2 home win over AFC Emley, Martin Pembleton and Danny Boulton striking in the last quarter-of-an-hour to claim the victory.
There were 5-0 wins for Glasshoughton Welfare and Grimsby Borough at home to Rossington Main and Winterton Rangers, respectively.
Hall Road Rangers beat hosts Knaresborough Town, 1-0, a score replicated by Hemsworth Miners Welfare at Teversal whilst Selby Town also won on their travels as they defeated basement side Lincoln Moorlands Railway, 2-1.
