Goole v Pickering to be played behind closed doors

1st August, 2024

Following a ruling by the West Riding CFA, Goole AFC's opening home league match of the 2024/25 NCEL Premier Division will be played behind closed doors.

The County FA made the decision after a hearing about a series of crowd-related incidents that took place at matches over the past three years at the Vikings' Victoria Pleasure Grounds.

It means that no crowd will be permitted for the visit of Pickering Town on Friday 9th August, 2024.
