Cobras unveil new management duo

Clipstone have acted quickly to find a new management team as the club prepares for its first ever season in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.
The Worksop Van Hire Stadium side have appointed former Staveley Miners Welfare duo James Colliver and Ryan France as their boss and assistant boss, respectively.
The pair left Staveley last month where they have been replaced by Brett Marshall who stepped down from his role as chairman at Clipstone at the end of the season.
A statement from the Cobras said: "We are excited about the appointment and feel Jas and Ryan are the right men for the challenge ahead.
"We would like to thank everyone who applied for the position."

Cobras management team go to Shirebrook

Division One champions Clipstone have announced that their management team has left to join their local rivals Shirebrook Town.
Chris Millington and his backroom staff helped guide the Cobras to the title this season, securing promotion to the Premier Division for the first time in the club's history.
But, it has now been revealed that they have stepped back down a division to replace Julian Watts and Ady Smith who left Shirebrook earlier this month to become the new management team at near neighbours Rainworth Miners Welfare.
A statement on Clipstone's website reads: "It is with sadness that Clipstone FC have to announce that the management team of Chris Millington, Steve Whitehead and Chris Bullock have all tendered their resignations and have taken over the management of local rivals Shirebrook Town.
"Clipstone FC would like to thank all three gentleman for their service to the football club and wish them all the best in their new project.
"Clipstone FC would like to invite applications for the position of manager via email with a covering note and C.V. to cwfc.press@gmail.com."

Marshall to step down as Cobras chairman

Clipstone chairman Brett Marshall has revealed he will be leaving the role at the end of the season.
He made the announcement on Mansfield 103.2's Non-League Show on Wednesday night when he said he felt that he had achieved all that he had set out to do at the club when he joined in February 2013.
His aims were to stay at the football club for at least two years, to get the facilities back to one of the best in local football and to bring in a manager who could carry the club forward on the playing field.
Marshall said: "Clipstone are not run through just a one man backer, so nothing will change finance wise and the club will go from strength-to-strength."
During his reign as chairman, the Cobras have played in the FA Cup for the first time in 86 years and they are currently challenging for promotion from Toolstation NCEL Division One and are in the Notts Senior Cup Final.
A statement from the Worksop Van Hire Stadium outfit said: "Everyone at Clipstone Football Club would like to thank Brett for his hard work and wish him every success in his future endeavours."
